Our design solution was to bring everyday mined objects to life in a way that was contemporary and industry challenges. We wanted to create a connection between what is above and below the ground. Through the use of bold type, rich colour and modern patterns, by juxtaposing photographs and infographics, we brought a pop aesthetic to an industrial world, making the world of mining a more appealing place for everyday people to explore.
